Kiper (in his best voice)....

"He's a prospect with a strong arm and great pocket presence. Needs to improve his footwork and accuracy. Could be a career backup or a 10 time pro bowler. I don't really know what the fuck I am doing so that is the best analysis I can give."

No shit Mel.

If he knew half of what he thought he did, he would be a scout or even a HIGHLY paid consultant of some sort to any number of teams. He watches film and breaks it down and yet he probably doesn't know much more about it than we do. He looks at stats, combine, measurables and against what kind of competition. McShay seems to know more than Kiper IMHO. NObodu knows who is going to make and who isn't. Outside of a few rare prospects here and there and they are no fucking brainers (like A. Luck).

If Prince Amukamara can't play Sunday because of his hamstring injury, rookie Jayron Hosley would get the start at cornerback for the Giants in his place. That would mean they could be counting on two Virginia Tech rookies to help them win this important game in Atlanta.

And Prince IS out this weekend, so Jayron will get the start. While I hope both he and David do well, I hope the Falcons torch the Giants in embarrassing fashion.

Hosley has played well in spot duty, got a couple of INTs too, but going up against Jones and White in your first start? Ouch...

David Wilson said his Giants playbook is about half the size of the one he had last year at VT.

The difference is the Giants playbook consists of plays that have a shot at working.

If VT's playbook is so thick, then why do the dice Stiney/OCain roll up in the booth always turn up on the WR screen play for no gain or the RB up the gut for no gain plays?

no kidding...the way the plays are called, its surprising to me that our offensive playbook is more than 4 or 5 pages

I've always imagined Stiney's playbook being one of this kiddie coloring mats you get at restaurants with the numbers telling you what color to use.

To be fair, he does have a history of scaling structures.

Kam Chancelor is laying the wood on SF tonight. Got called for a BS personal foul on a clean bone jarring hit on Davis that certainly separated the receiver from the ball. Defense still held them to a FGA which ended up being blocked and returned for a TD to put Seattle up 21-0.
