to Krieger - a lot of folks in Omaha switch between Husker fans and Creighton fans for Football and Basketball season. some seem to think that this is because they aren't loyal to Nebraska, but in reality, Creighton doesn't have football, so they are probably Creighton fans that want to cheer for the home state team during CFB.

Of course there are your fair weather fans that do switch too, so don't get me wrong that's it's only the above.

as far as putting a number on it, that's tough because I'm not sure how you really gauge it. I bet we lose 50% of fans from FB season. Just a guess. I know a lot of folks in Omaha switch, but putting a % on it is tough.

i personally think the team is light year's better this year. they have way more talent then what they ran with last year. Look at the fact that Gallegos was near 37 minutes a game and the 2nd leading scorer last year and this year he's down to 27 min and is the 6th best scorer.

Who gives a shit? Cheer for the soccer team. Its amazing they couldn't sell half the seats at the Civic but can fill a 16,000 seat arena nightly now that Creighton has had success in their Mid-Major conferences (MVC and big-east) and Nebraska hasn't done much since Nee left. It's banwaggon, pure and simple.

Fuck Jayskers.

I remember my first year at UNL we were playing Kansas and my gf and I walked over to the Devaney with no tickets......found a side door unlocked and we walked right in, right past some old lady who was supposed to be checking people or soething, and walked right out on to the floor. We went and stood with the students and never got checked. I even got a free tshirt.

Then the next year I started working for the Athletic Dept and got an events pass that just got me into any sporting event I wanted. Never ever paid for a basketball ticket while going to school there.

Nice JJM I walked right into the Marilyn manson and Rob Zombie concert a year ago at Purshing. SP it was a great show. I spent 15 on beer so my night was awesome.

Stat line: 11-15 (3-4 3pt), 8-8 FT, 33 points, 9 assists and 0 turnovers.

That's a sophomore PG line from a few nights ago. Not too bad.

Todays scores.

#7 Mich St (19-3)(8-1) LOST (60-64) @ Georgetown (12-9)(3-6) in the Big East.

#24 Ohio St (17-5)(4-5) WON (59-58) @ #17 Wisconsin (17-5)(4-5)

Northwestern (12-11)(5-5) WON (55-54) @ Minnesota (15-7)(4-5)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

#15 Iowa (16-5)(5-3) is playing Illinois (13-8)(2-6) on BTN now.

#10 Michigan (16-4)(8-0) plays @ Indiana (13-8)(3-5) tomorrow afternoon.

If Michigan loses tomorrow look out. The way these teams are playing (even at home), the conference tournament is up for grabs.

Kind of hoping Michigan wins. If they are pissed off and at home, I don't like our chances Wednesday. Although, I don't think I'd be real confident either way. They're playing a lot better than they did in Lincoln. We're playing better too, but we still have periods of going full retard.

Yeah, I don't think Nebraska's gonna be sneaking up on anybody from here on out.

If there's a plus, Miles has a 6 to 3 day advantage prepping for the game.

It wouldn't surprise me at all for an unexpected team to win the Big 10 tournament and get an auto-bid to the Big Dance that wouldn't have gotten consideration otherwise.
