It's a given for my Longhorns. But, this is crazy to see the Maryland Terrapins who went 43 years without even a single regional bid come within 1 win of the CWS.


UVA might ruin it, but it is one of the more ridiculous runs for a school having no business sniffing a CWS bid.

Well, you can never count out a name like Texas in baseball. I won't say I was pulling for you guys against Houston or that i will be pulling for you in Omaha (ULL if they win), but either way best of luck man.

Since they toned the bats down so far, you've got to be able to play small-ball to have any success. Bunting is small-ball and a means of putting runners in scoring position.

LSU use to have that mindset and got burned bad. Glad we are finally coming around to the small ball game. We just need to critique it a bit.

They need to find a balance between small-ball and gorilla-ball. The HR is part of the game and can be a huge game changer but it just hasn't been the case since they modified the bats and what not. We need the HR back.

Thanks, Texas will need more than luck. Texas has few fans outside of their fanbase, but that's to be expected, especially when they have had the success they have had. America loves the underdog.
