How does such a disciplined team lose 5 games?

Because they've lost 4 of those games by a field goal, and the other game was by a TD......

And 3 of those losses were in Over Time......including the one that was lost by a TD.

Fact is, Wisconsin statistically is around a top 15 team. But the W/L column says otherwise.

How much of the D is Bo going to let papuchis have. First half? Then Bo takes the wheel if needed and releases the dogs. Wisco will move the ball but not at will. Like I said abadarus will get a couple big passes but won't torch us all night. Ball will run for a couple big runs but won't reel off 6 yards a carry. Nebraska is to good in every aspect of this game.

Montee Ball said that this is the biggest game of his life coming up.

If we lose this Championship, everyone will freak out and blame Pelini.........but I will tell you right now, the team that wins is the team that wants it more.

In these games you just as well throw all logic and stats and all that out the window. Reset everything to zero. This is a brand new season as far as Wisconsin is concerned. They don't give a shit that they have 5 losses and we have 2.........

Both teams have the same opportunity here -- FACT !!!

Spent a little time mulling over what the impacts of the loss of Jackson and Steinkuhler will be.

I found Pelini's comments about it interesting.

"We’ve been pretty fortunate with injuries so far this year," Pelini said. "We lost a couple guys and I thought guys stepped in well."

"It's sad for those two guys that they aren't able to play in a game such as this," head coach Bo Pelini said. "I feel bad because they're seniors."

To me it's simple........look at College Basketball for instance. When Conference Tournaments roll around, there are constantly surprise teams winning and making it to the NCAA Tournament.

Why?

Because they realize that despite theirn shitty season, they have the same opportunity as every other team in the Conference at the end of the year. Just win, and you're in.

Wisconsin lost 5 games.......but if they just win this 1....just this 1, they're in the Rose Bowl and they are BIG Champions.

Reset it to zero. It's a new season starting now. Nebraska is 0-0 and Wisconsin is 0-0. Jest like me coach used ta say......"we're in the playoffs now.....everyone is #1 and undefeated."

Wisconsin's had a good defense all year. Let's be real though, outside of the Braxton Miller show, it's not like the B1G offenses are stellar.

Literally my only concern is that Pelini prepares this team just like this is another game.....

It won't work this time.......I guarantee that. If we don't prepare for this game like it is the Championship game, we will lose........just like we lost to Oklahoma a couple years ago when we weren't prepared.

My 24-21 loss prediction right now goes like this........

Wisconsin takes a 21-0 lead as we turn the ball over multiple times in the first half. We start to make our normal comeback, we get it to 21-14 to start the 4th quarter.......but Wisconsin puts together a drive and pushes the lead to 24-14 with about 4 minutes to go in the game.

We drive down the field and score, but this time we don't have enough in the tank.

I'm just feeling that kind of game. I hate it......but it's what I'm feeling. It makes me sick thinking about it.
