Really, if you look at games in regulation time, Wisconsin has only lost by a total of 6 points all season.......

Because a game going into OT is essentially a tie, if we want to get statistically technical en sech....

Wisky lost by 19 points combined..with 3 OT losses.

this isn't a shit team

Not saying they are a shit team, but they rank high nationally in "shoot yourself in the foot" categories.

Fumbles Lost

Wisconsin 14th
Nebraska 119th

Fewest Penalties Per Game

Wisconsin 6th
Nebraska 76th

Interceptions Thrown

Wisconsin 12th
Nebraska 44th

Turnovers Lost

Wisconsin 4th
Nebraska 108th

Wisconsin got beat by their opponents. They didn't beat themselves.
K. State is 10-1 with similar #'s.

Wisconsin does have a shitty FG kicker, but that's not worthy of 5 losses.

Wisconsin is a one dimensional team w/o a mobile QB.

Pelini should be able to scheme that offense.

Wisconsin's got a good defense, but Nebraska's offense has been running well on "good defenses" for the last 7 weeks.

Agreed. Would, scratch that, will- love to see the Blackshirts show up big.

I was concerned about the loss of Jackson and Steinkuhler and was waiting to hear Pelini's comments about it.

"We’ve been pretty fortunate with injuries so far this year," Pelini said. "We lost a couple guys and I thought guys stepped in well."

"It's sad for those two guys that they aren't able to play in a game such as this," head coach Bo Pelini said. "I feel bad because they're seniors."

It's not like NU lost All-Americans here.

The Center's a walk-on (NU's got a bunch of those)
The DT is servicable, but hasn't improved in 4 years.

Like Pelini, "I feel bad because they're seniors."

All I'm saying is, I guarantee you Wisconsin runs a flea flicker at some crucial point in the game and has a guy wide open :dhd:

I personally thought Steinkuhler had improved some from the start of the season......

I also though he had his best game of the season against Wisconsin the first time around........he seemed to like that matchup up front.....

Nothing about "great player", "big loss", " major contributers" yada yada

Sad because they aren't able to play in this type of game because they're seniors.

Guys will step up IMO.

UCLA was seriously his worst game.......

I mean everyone got juked out of their shoes at Ohio State........but rewatch that UCLA game if you can stand puking one more time..........Steinkuhler and Meredith are getting knocked 5 yards off the line on some plays.....it's terrible
