So whats going on here? Chip Kelly class at UCLA is garbage. Is he not invested in this years crop? He looking up at that juggernaut he built in Oregon as they sit in the top 5. Wow.

So let me start by saying that this is speculation on my part. However, it was rumored one of the reasons Chip left the college game was that he didn't liked the amount of time spent recruiting. I don't think Chip spends as much time recruiting as some of his colleagues. He also didn't put together a staff that is full of great recruiters.

He also had the advantage of being seen as the "cool" program while at Oregon. The fast paced offense, flashy uniforms, etc. It was easier to recruit to Oregon then. Now he's a failed NFL coach who hasn't coached in college for 4 seasons. And you combine that with the fact UCLA went 6-7 last year and the results on the recruiting trail aren't pretty.

Welp....with today's commitment of ATH Jaren Mangham out of Detroit to the Colorado Buffaloes, the top 15 ranked recruits in Michigan are now spoken for/all committed. The new official visit calendar is certainly helping kids and their families make school choice decisions easier/earlier.

I don’t know why everyone was so sure on Dax and Carter. I never read any real defining stance one way or the other. I’m not on any pay site or anything so I’m sure I just missed it. He’ll be an Aggie. Went there yesterday and using the “we don’t know how to change a tire so I’m not making the OU visit today” story.

Well, you got is covered either way. He is a great athlete with a really high ceiling if you land him. He is a head case that isn’t being recruited hard by any state school outside of A&M, if you don’t land him
