The premier DB's are now Washington's territory.
I'll give credit where it's due, Washington has been putting out some quality DBs, but in terms of numbers they're not at OSU's level.

You really do think Petersen is Saban or Meyer, huh?. :laugh3:
Sydney Jones would have been a 1st rounder if he hadn't got injured in the combine. Washington replaced those three with three better ones.

The sun shines even on a dog's ass once in a while. Doesn't detract from my point. No matter how much you want him to be, Petersen ain't Saban or Meyer. He's a very good coach, but he doesn't have the killer instinct asshole gene those two have, and you have to have to play at that level. It's okay, Stoops doesn't have it either. Or if he did, he lost it years ago, and I'm not sure he can get it back.

Washington will get another crack at those schools during these next playoffs.

You're going to be really dissapointed when USC crushes your dreams.

Both SC and UW should be 12 - 0 going into the PAC championship game. Then we'll see. SC beat UW last season and UW beat them the year before that.

See. I can post pictures that have almost nothing to do with the college football landscape today too. Cool huh?
Petersen killed it at Boise St.

In his 3rd season at Washington he did this ...

He beat a handful of good teams at Boise state when he only had one or two games to prepare for each season. He won a weak PAC conference and got his ass stomped in the CFP. It's a decent start, but he hasn't shown me or anyone else that he's even approaching someone like Saban, Meyer, or even Dabo's level.

To be fair, we put three in the 1st round...

With plenty more talent to back it up. My hope is that you guys get caught by the inexperience in your DB's by mayfield this year. Our line should be in far better shape. Will be fun watching your d line versus our offensive line.

That's going to be a slugfest. Our DBs actually have a good amount of experience. Damon Webb is a senior at safety that's returning, and Denzel Ward worked in a lot last year both inside and out. It'll be interesting. Who's your new Shepard/Westbrook at WR?

Well that's dissapointing. I was hoping we could return the favor and exploit some inexperience at DB like you did against us last year.

Not sure yet on WR. There's going to be a lot more talent there with some experience this year. I'll say you're going to see a different type of receiving attack this year compared to last year. Westbrook wasn't full strength and we were still sticking with some guys who had no business being on the field with your players, but played because they were veterans. This year I think you'll have to cover bigger and more physical guys like Mead and Andrews. Both of those guys should be a nightmare in the red zone. Also, watch out for the transfer we got from Kentucky, Jeff Badet. I wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't take on that #1 WR role straight away. Guy has some real skills. Kentuckys offense just sucks. Marquise Brown is a burner. Faster than Westbrook, but I have no idea if he'll be able to hang physically at this level yet.
