I'll start it off...I believe teams are being split up in to 1st+2nd stringers vs all others

I, probably like most, will be watching the QBs, RBs, and LBs the most

Specifically tommy/bush at QB, taylor/cross at RB, and Banderas at LB (WANNA see if that kid gets it yet or not, supposedly he's prgressed nicely in the new D)

by 1st & 2nd vs all others, so we are going to see the #1 offense going against the crappy defense? and the #1 D going against the crappy offense?

personally, i like it when teams just split it up offense and defense and figure out a way to give the defense points that are equivalent to the offense scoring points. then you get 1s vs 1s and can substitute in backups so you build some cohesion amongst the backups and starters. obviously you can do this last part too with the setup mentioned, but it's not to hard to beat up on the crappier players, would rather see them go against people with equal talent.

Realistically at this point, this is what the team needs. They're still working on installing offense and defense, and need a chance to get it down. They still have all of fall camp to have the 1s work against each other. Sure, this probably not as much fun to watch, but it is what it is.
