Thoughts on trade offer?

I was recently offered Gio Bernard and Terrance West for Matt Forte. 16 team league. 1 pt every 10 yds, 6 Pts every TD run.

Accept? Decline? Counter? I'm leaning decline. Forte was my first round pick.

that'd be tough to accept or turn down, imo.

I'd probably want Gio and a WR2, if not a low end WR1 if I was giving Forte.

Kinda depends on the rest of your team, are you thin at RB? Keeper or dynasty? Two RB's far one in 16 team leagues always deserve serious consideration

Not a keeper league. Other RBs are Ryan Mathews, Danny Woodhead, James Starks, not good.

You wouldn't trade Forte for Bernard straight up, and that is essentially what this trade will be if Tate comes back healthy, because West would be just taking up a roster spot after that.

I'm not so sure that is true. Say West does slightly above average in these 2-4 week that Tate misses. . It's no given that Tate is just handed his job back.


I don't think I'd take the deal, maybe counter with Gio and either a decent WR, or if he had a RB in between West and Gio

He has Chris johnson an knowshon Moreno, I doubt he would give Bernard and one of those two. I may offer him Reggie Wayne and Bernard for Forte.
