It's a cot-damn 10 for a real CFB fan.

I'd take (0-8) Southern Miss vs (0-8) Miami, OH in April.

It has been nothing more than a 5.

There really has not been that great signature moment or great matchup.

It seems like none of the top teams ever play anyone with a pulse.
It is not their fault as the schedules have fallen weirdly into boring chalk beatdowns.

And when they finally do play a top 10 matchup, it is a 45 point blowout sleep aid game.
I know Bama-A&M was fun, but that was week 2.

The Heisman race is more boring than it has been in the last 6 or 7 years.
The non-AQ teams seem exceedingly weaker than the Boise, TCU, or Utah claimants of years past.

The heart of the season has produced virtually nothing noteworthy that we will talk about for years.
That might all change Thursday night.....

But for now, this College Season has been a yawn fest.

But , Thursday night could turn it all around

We deserve an epic Thursday night that dominates the Friday morning "watercooler" talk.

6. There have been some good games, a couple of which I've had the pleasure of watching, but my team having two losses (one of them a baffling, inexplicable hemorrhoid), and it shaping up to be the same old teams vying for the BCS again, meh.

We lost to Duke and BC in back to back weeks, and Logan Thomas is still my quarterback.

2.

Over all = 6

Canes = 8. We could still easily get to 9-3, but with a good bounce or two 11-1 is still possible.

I would say a 7. Still a bit early to rate though. If we end up seeing 5 undefeated teams, which I am expecting to, it will be lower. As much as I hate on the College Football Playoff set up, it will be a year too late.

Overall, I'd say 8. We still have 6 more weeks left in which most of the good match ups start to really take shape and the rankings of teams have mare validity. This is also when most upsets really start to happen also.
