People bitch about games like Madden (and COD and really any popular title EA gets) yet they turn around and by the newest version every year, usually in record numbers. If its that big of a deal, don't buy it. Nothing will change as long as you keep giving them your money

My wife bought me Madden last year and its the first time I've played it in eons. I couldn't understand it. There's more options and crap then I knew what to do with. Playing a season? Forget it. I played it once and its never been out of the case since. Then again, i'm in my mid 40's and hardly play video games so that might play a part too.

Roommate got it, same complaints I had when I last bought it (4 or 5 years ago). Way too much attention paid to details and making people look exactly how they do in real life, getting the tats, the throwing motions etc. Not enough time spent on the gameplay.
