It doesn't take a Racquet Scientist to figure out that this is a big game.

The winner of this game sits down in the very early driver's seat in the Big 10 West.

It's also a 7 o'clock game under the lights with many folks paying attention as a top 10 opponent strolls in to one of the greatest venues in all of College Football.

Time to discuss keys, concerns, hopes, etc...

Tre Kalu and Jones, if these guys are cleared it would obviously be huge, if we commit to the run and keep it away from -6 we have a shot. DL goes into sling mode we’re fucked

If the Nebraska O Line plays their best game of the year there is a chance. If Tanner Lee has time, the Wisconsin pass defense is highly suspect. Northwestern was able to pass on them a lot.

Wisconsin has played a cupcake schedule. Their opponents are 8-11.

Wisconsin
4. Total Defense 247 ypg
4. Rushing Defense 74.3 ypg
4. Sacks 4 per game
8. Scoring Defense 13.8 ppg
12. Tackles for loss 8.3 per game
23. Passing Yards Allowed 172.8 ypg
29. Red Zone Defense 0.750

Who do I think wins? Wisconsin.
Since I am relying on Mike Cavanaugh, my hopes are crushed.

It is going to be extremely important for Tanner to learn how to start throwing the ball away like ASAP.

This will be the most pressure he's seen in his life. Hopefully we stick to a game plan that gets the ball out quickly.

"Sling it" will quickly turn ugly for us.

I expect RRPP the first two or three series.
Then Langsdorf loses his mind and goes to PPPP with an occasional PRPP.

Illinois 17 - 24 PA, 246 yards, 38 rush, 165 yards.
Rutgers 15- 29 PA, 126 Yards, 24 Rush 68 Yards
NIU 25 - 47 PA 249 Yards, 36 rush 85 yards (103 without TL's -18)
WHoregon 19 - 41 PA 252 Yards, 29 Rush 109

I think his play calling may have a lot to do with if the pass is there or not. You got to have both to have a balanced attack so you try to give you qb chances to settle down and get a rhythm

I don't get the 3 and 1 passes but a lot of OCs call them so maybe I'm missing something. I think our problem is more with a position coach than DL. Or at least I believe with a strong line I could live with DL.

The only way we are going to hang around in this game is if we commit to the running game.

I don't care if we go 3 and out and punt the first 4 possessions. Run the damn ball and let the Defense do their job.

We gotta stop getting off to horrific starts in these big games. Wisconsin's worst nightmare this weekend is if we are hanging around into the 3rd quarter in Lincoln under the lights.

We lose this game because of Tanner Lee, same as the loss to oregon and NIU, I don’t no what else there is to debate, they’re not world beaters but we’ll make them out to be on Sat

I'm worried that I am not worried about this game. We must shut down the run and make them throw the ball.
