Not real sure the State of Texas is going to enjoy the outcome from three of those matches.

Baylor and TCU are both in Texas, so the state will have at least one win.

So 1-4 is the worst the state of Texas can go.

But the other 3 games, the Texas teams are probably the underdog.

The Red River Rivalry is a rivalry game and could go either way, and Texas has the defense to at least stay in the game and make it interesting.

Ole Miss is better than A&M, but winning on the road is hard, I think Ole Miss wins, but wouldn't be surprised if A&M pulled out a win. Bad Bo hasn't showed up yet this season, and this weekend is a good chance for it to show up. Hangover from Bama win and playing in a hostile environment, and the Ole Miss program having expectations it hasn't had since the early 60's.

I think Baylor is better than TCU, but TCU always seems to rise up against top competition. This game could easily go either way.

Really, the only game that would shock me is if Texas Tech managed to beat WV.

2-2.

1. Baylor. Way too much for TCU.

2. ATM beats Ole Miss. ATM got a huge gift last week. It takes 10 days to get over an emotional high. Ole Miss will be as flat as a pancake. ATM at home will be just too much for them to overcome since they will still have the Alabama win on their mind. Sometimes you just get lucky. ATM by 17.

Aggy still has an awful defense. This will be a shootout, IMO:

Aggy 48
Ole Miss 45

Goes to show what a great football state Texas has become. Lots of high school talent. Check the Oklahoma roster and see just how many of their players come from south of the Oklahoma border.

I got the ags winning, their defense is suspect but they have the athletes on offense to run circles around ole miss. Bayor wins, Texas wins of course, and West virginia does dirty things to the raiders.

The last few years a lot of texas high school players have become bums. See texas longhorn football the last 4 years. OU has recruited California really hard and Bob is getting players from all over the Country. Osu has more texas players than OU.

Currently 12 players on Oklahoma's roster from California.

38 players from Texas on Oklahoma roster out of a total of 114 players. So you can see recruiting texas is not as big of a priority as it used to be with texas players representing a small portion of the total roster.

As you can see Oklahoma has players from Arizona, Washington, Kansas, California, Texas, Georgia, Ohio, Oklahoma, Missouri, South Dakota, Utah, Louisiana, Tennessee, New Jersey, Alabama, Michigan, Illinois, Maryland, Mississippi, and Toronto Canada.

In many cases Bob is getting the player of the year in these States. He's at a point now he can pick and choose players that fits his needs from around the Country.

I think 1/3rd of the teams roster from Texas is a significant number. How about the percentage of the starters?
