2nd Tier: Ohio State, Baylor, Oregon, Auburn
3rd Tier: Clemson, Missouri, Oklahoma St

Analysis: Except for Clemson, all of the above have a chance to play for the nc. For some it would take a near miracle, but still not impossible. Auburn may have the best shot.

Biggest Surprises: Baylor, Auburn, Missouri, Minnesota, Duke

Biggest Disappointments: Florida, Georgia, Texas, Michigan

Injuries hurt Florida and Georgia. Texas and Michigan lack that excuse.

Heisman Trophy:

Jameis Winston, Johnny Manzeil, Bruce Petty

Analysis: Inqure into Winston could hurt his chances. Manzeil has 2 key games left with LSU and Missouri that could make or break him. If Petty could complete an undefeated season for Baylor, he could sneak in. That said, I like Winston.

NC Game: Alabama vs Florida St

I honestly don't see either losing. Florida State seems to have the easier path. Alabama has 2 tough games left to play against Auburn and likely Missouri. Ohio State and Baylor are just waiting for one of the above to lose. Missouri and Auburn could yet play their way in.

I'm surprised that Baylor is as big a favorite playing away. Missouri game is actually the 2nd most important. They are still alive to win the SEC.
