Gonna be a good one.

KSU's QB is transferring. Not sure what happened, but Sams is gone. It would have been pretty cool to see Sams and Marshall on the field. Both QBs running 4.5 or better.

Stanford @ Notre Dame in week 6 is better than any games you currently have listed IMO. Should be a match up of top 10 teams, maybe even top 5.

Should start out in the top 20. If we are undefeated which is more likely than not, we could be in the top 10. Rice, Michigan, Purdue and Syracuse are the first 4 games.

Also I'm sure you thought the same two years ago when ND finished #1 going into the title game.

Beating 4 bad and likely Unranked teams isn't going to boost you into the top 10 that early. Everyone else for the most part is beating up on Patsys as well.

That is IF they can go 4-0. 2-2 is just as likely with ND.

Notre Dame has had some issues with Michigan as of late, despite having two of the worst coaches in Michigan football history

Depends on where ND starts out I guess. I've seen anywhere from 14 to 21. If they are 14-16 range they should be in the top 10.

If that were the case they would be vastly overrated. They are not a top 10 team and top 5 is really an exaggeration.

I'm looking forward to Houston at BYU in Week 3. We only lost to them by one point last year, we have a lot of returning talent, and that could be the only game on what is supposed to be a pretty soft schedule in which we aren't favored. Also looking forward to seeing the new stadium at UH on espn in Week 1. Could be a nice season for the Cougars. Eat 'em up!

Noticed Kentucky/Louisville will end their regular seasons this year. Game has always been played, at least recently, during weeks 1-3. Probably a good move for the state to play it to end the season.

I'll be the first to admit ND wasn't very good last year, yet ND finished the season ranked 20th. ND will be much better this year without Rees. He just never fit Kelly's system. And ND is undefeated with Golson as the starter in regular season games. If ND starts 13 and start 4-0 ND will be in the top 10.

Its ND, come on. They go 4-0 and the pollsters will push them to top 10. Not just ND, there other schools. I am sure if Texas is 4-0, they will be threatening the top 10 and the media will be calling Strong the next Lombardi. They wont deserve it, but it would not surprise me in the least. PLus you ever notice how teams seem to make leaps in the polls the week before a big national game, especially early in the season?

Ill throw one in for the week of November 22nd. IF Wisconsin beats LSU in their season opener I see a realistic chance that their November 22nd game in Iowa City could be a matchup of unbeaten teams. Laugh now if you must but the schedules for these 2 teams are pretty fucking horrendous. A win in the season opener by the Badgers could mean a top 5/10 type battle in IC the next to last weekend of the regular season.

I don't see how nd can be ranked so high. they lost of ton of talent on their front 7 (which was the strength of the team). who knows how good golston is? im hoping for an a good season but I just don't see it. this will be the first season under Kelly where his offense must put up pts. I have zero faith in him as a play caller/decision maker

Is their name still Notre Dame, that is worth quite a few rankings, just like playing in the SEC.

Golson is back. Their secondary is going to be very good, they have real talent there. Brian Kelly isn't like the last couple of clowns ND had, he can coach and he has got talent and with Golson coming back, I like Notre Dame to start out top 15.
