I also saw Edge of Tomorrow. Better than I thought. B+ but only because a couple of movies did some of the things a little smarter but Tom Cruise was actually kinda good in it.

Hollywood seems to have figured out that he works best as an 'unlikable' guy but I dont any movie really nailed it until this one. Well, unless you count Tropic Thunder.

Cruise is actually able to show off some charisma in parts and you can actually relate to him.

I really like the movies Last Samurai and Collateral but I do think those movies would have been better if they would have picked literally anyone else for his parts.

Watched Django again (two more times than Spike Lee watched it). Enjoyed it and the over the top, cartoonish violence.
7/10.

I want to see Intersteller in the theater soon.

I want to see it, but I am a bit scared that it will end up being a political message wrapped up in pretty SFX (kinda like Elysium).

Saw Interstellar last night. Very good movie that didn't feel at all like it had close to a 3 hr running time. Definitely a movie you have to pay close attention to or else it's very easy to get lost. Not Nolan's best in my opinion but definitely not his worst either.

It's not

I saw it again tonight and wasn't able to solve the paradox I've been trying to figure out since the first viewing Monday.

Still a great movie and what really stood out to me this time was how dramatic the score is. Great work by Hans Zimmer, which is no surprise.

I saw Birdman last night. Great movie. Its a bit like the Squid and the Whale except for midlife crisis' and its good commentary on the state of art. The POV camera makes for some really interesting scenes and it keeps things upbeat.

I'd give it an A

That was mine too. Great acting, plot & dialog. I liked it. My wife didn't. I could have done with a less ambiguous ending.

The ending wasn't ambiguous, imo. The last 3 seconds or so were tacked on to make fun of the superhero trend.
