I tend to take movies made from books with a grain of salt. If you were really invested in the book, the movie is generally going to disappoint you. That said, I never read I am Legend but enjoyed the movie.

Another one is the Bourne series. I actually really enjoy the movies but they are pretty much nothing like the books, which I also enjoyed

The only exception is count of monte Christo

It covers the book pretty well considering it’s over 500 pages…until the pc ending.

Jurassic World: Dominion. Nothing special really. I didn’t think that the mixing of the new and older casts was done all that well. I’d say it ranks probably around third or fourth in the series.
True Grit (John Wayne version). I’ve never seen a John Wayne movie straight through but really enjoyed it. I’m thinking about watching Hondo sometime soon.

Mississippi Burning - Hackman and Dafoe.

Great movie.

Doesn't seem much different down there tod ay.

Great film! Also check out "A Time to Kill" (similar theme). The beginning is still hard for me to stomach to this day, but at least you get the ultimate satisfaction quite shortly thereafter.

The Eyes of Tammy Faye.
Good movie. Chastain was very good in it.

King Richard.
Also a good show. Too bad the movie will be tied to Smith's Oscars slap. IRL, I didn't know that Richard Williams was a serial cheater that had lots of other kids that he abandoned and never supported (never mentioned but for one, short scene).

Not a movie but we started watching seven seconds series on Netflix. A kid dies from a hit and run from a cop. Then they it cover up. They could have wrapped this up in 2 episodes but they drug it out for 10 episodes.

I slowly watched this a while back, but never got around to finishing it up. It just dragged on SOOOO much.

Yeah. Everything is a soap opera nowadays.

Cliff hangers, shocking reveals and plot twists.

I grow weary of it.

It's not a movie, but I just got done watching the Resident Evil Netflix show.

Ooh boy.

If this were just billed as a zombie show, it would be a solid 7/10.
Because this was billed as a Resident Evil show, it's a 4/10.

This was merely a cash grab by Netflix, noting more, nothing less.

Margin Call.

Kevin Spacy, Zachary Quinto, Stanley Tucci, Demi Moore, etc.

A slow burn movie involving the 2008 financial crisis. I liked it.
