How about the Astros playing spoiler by defeating the mariners the last 2 games.

The 2nd wc is the best thing they ever did.....now if only they can change the wildcard playoffs from a winner to take all to a best of 3...

Astros have been pretty decent the last month or so. Took 2 of 3 from the A's and 2 against the Angels before the M's. They can definately play a big spoiler role the last couple of weeks.

And I agree the WC should be 2 of 3

Strangely the M's tend to play the better teams better than they do the teams like the Astros, Phillies, and Rangers this year.

The 3 game series starting Friday against the A's is going to be fun. The M's could be leading the Wild Card race very quickly.
