For those of you who aren't familiar, there used to be a parody website known as The Dugout (aka "The Official Chatroom of Major League Baseball"). It was started by the Progressive Boink writers, notably the great Jon Bois. The Dugout was presented in an AIM-style chatroom with various parodies of baseball players. Their screen names were puns on the players names, such as pr0FF3ss0r_f4rnsw0rth (Kyle Farnsworth), JeterJeterPumpkinEater (Derek Jeter), and PujolJunkie (Albert Pujols).
It started in '04 and ended a few years back. The original site is no longer up, but you can still find the original archive here:
