well, I have a feeling, these "other guys" simply value guys, evidently especially QB's, a little differently than we're used to.
In my case, I had tried to get Prescott from AJ pre week 1..his counter and my initial offer were polar opposites, but we texted back n forth a bit, he's a good dude, and like us, has his opinions on player value, and, like us, no one will convince him otherwise.

In our little circle, we pretty much know who Lefty likes, who doesn't, who I like, who I don't, etc.. It'll be a process as we go.

totally agree that feeling out a new group takes time, still can't see a world where Ginn/Moncrief value is any where near Hop though.
I mean, at least put a draft pick sweetener in there to pretend it's a legit offer.

when it really comes down to it, I prob shouldn't be such a crab ass about it.

just have a ton of stuff I'm juggling right now and hated that I actually wasted some time on that offer/counter.

I think he'll be, at worst, equal to Benji the Panther, actually like the move for him. Funchess, Samuel, and especially McAffrey, have been eating away at those precious few Newton completions
