Basically, if you would rather pick someone with 10 AS games, who is not a HOFer, than one of your HOF picks that is fine, but he counts as one of your HOF picks. Example I guess would be Pete Rose, not a HOF, but more than 5 ASG. If you want him, he has more than 5, so he counts as HOF. So it basically comes down to you getting 3 guys who either had more than 5 ASG or was HOF, 15 guys who played in 1-5 ASG, and 3 guys with 0 ASG. A key to remember is you don't have to have a backup catcher, just two pinch hitters

A couple of things. If someone Nos notified wants to play, 100% they are in, but the last thing we want to do in this specific draft is recruit guys who are half in half out or brand new to the mocks. Reason being, even those of us that have done several of these aren't gonna be able to just "wing it" in a 3 HOF draft, and the worst possible scenario is someone holding things up or quitting because their board runs out after round 3

I agree. In this specific draft it would be better to get more experienced guys bc this is going to be a tough draft, probably one of the toughest I have done. If we can get 3 off of the list Nos sent it would be the best move or even just 1. If we can only get 10 it would be better than getting 12 or 14 with guys that aren't willing to take the time to do this mock, like you said.
