Right how they fared against each other would make sense if each of the 3 teams had atleast a winning record against one of the others. The fact that neither team owns a tiebreaker over the wolves, tells me the 3 way tie is kind of pointless. If wolves lost to thunder tiebreak but beat Denver and so forth a 3 way tie would make more sense.

I mean, it would be great to get home court over one another, that might determine the end result. But all three are equally skilled and the better team will end up winning regardless. Complaining about predetermined tie breakers after the fact just doesn't work

yeah I agree. It’s just that it’s been pretty well agreed that avoiding both the reigning champ and the red hot Mavs until the conference final is a definite advantage no matter who else you would play.
