Tie breakers are stupid. Wolves should be the 1 seed right now.
I’m saying cause the wolves own the tiebreaker in against the nuggets and the Thunder but since all 3 are tired then they don’t. Pretty dumb.Um…..how else do you decide seeding when teams have the same record?

When 3 are tied they consider it more important how the 3 teams did against each other.I’m saying cause the wolves own the tiebreaker in against the nuggets and the Thunder but since all 3 are tired then they don’t. Pretty dumb.
One teams has the head to head over both the other 2. You don’t think it’s silly they aren’t the 1 seed when both teams lose the head to head to them? When 3 are tied they consider it more important how the 3 teams did against each other.
You aren’t hearing me, the Thunder win the 3 way tie with the best record of the 3 in games they all played against each other. Thunder went 5-3, Twolves 4-4, Nuggets 3-5.
No I really don’t. I mean the Thunder tied 2-2 with the Twolves anyway, the only reason the Twolves win a 2 way tie is conference record. When 3 are involved they determined how they faired against each other is more important of a tiebreaker than conference record. One teams has the head to head over both the other 2. Right how they fared against each other would make sense if each of the 3 teams had atleast a winning record against one of the others. The fact that neither team owns a tiebreaker over the wolves, tells me the 3 way tie is kind of pointless. If wolves lost to thunder tiebreak but beat Denver and so forth a 3 way tie would make more sense. No I really don’t. @bksballer89 can you translate for me what Sunday looks like for Sixers.

These have been agreed upon from day 1. I as a Timberwolves fan want to play the foul card as much as anyone but it has already been agreed upon so why cry mulligan now? Here is how it breaks down Sunday for the top 3 seeds in the West.
All 3 win or all 3 lose, or OKC wins and other 2 lose
1 OKC
2 Minny
3 Denver
OKC loses, other 2 win
1 Minny
2 Denver
3 OKC
OKC and Denver win, Minny loses
1 OKC
2 Denver
3 Minny
OKC and Minny win, Denver loses
1 Minny
2 OKC
3 Denver
I really liked where we were both sitting if Denver had stayed in the 1. Fight it out between our teams to go to the conference finals. These have been agreed upon from day 1. I mean, it would be great to get home court over one another, that might determine the end result. But all three are equally skilled and the better team will end up winning regardless. Complaining about predetermined tie breakers after the fact just doesn't workI really liked where we were both sitting if Denver had stayed in the 1.
