What really ticks me off is looking at the roster carefully, they really do SUCK. I mean the Padres are the only team in Baseball that doesn't have a star player. There isn't a guy we can say well he's big time. The Marlins at least have Stanton & some really good young arms. Every year I keep waiting for the farm system to produce somebody. They haven't produced SQUAT!!

Our payroll is less than Barry Zito. This isn't a terrible team. That said, I disagree vehemently with some of the recent moves, especially John Baker and Pedro Ciriaco, both of which we lost outright. We should have brought up prospects.
