"Slaves" getting 100,000+ dollars worth of education, room, board, food and fame. 40% of whom are white.

I didn't know he was being forced to play college football either. What a rough life... He's welcome to use his high school diploma to begin a career or pay like everyone else to attend a big university like Texas.

At least he's not melodramatic, though... :L

Sounds like this player and Tom Herman aren't seeing things eye to eye.

That’s awful dangerous for the NCAA to do though. They are basically taking their billion dollar product and making it a hundred dollar product if they start wiping out 50% football and basketball players. I can’t see them doing that.

Nope. Their game and fan support will not be affected.

You cheer for West Virginia. Not individual players. You cheer and
support your school and will continue to support new recruits.

The recruiting base will change, but schools will still go after the
best recruits available. There will be zero difference in how the game is played.

Nobody is going to not attend a West Virginia game, to attend a
Minor League football game in Cumberland, MD. That ain't gonna
happen. Not in West Virginia, not anywhere.

Maybe not. But he can enjoy the rest of his college career on the prep team.

The product on the field will absolutely change. It will undoubtedly become worse. I get to a degree what you are saying. But arguing the game and fan support will not be affected is absolute foolish when the product on the field will only get worse.

An giving someone the option to see perhaps a better product in Cumberland, MD is not going to help people go to WVU games.

More than 3500 people were shot in Chicago in 2017.
The vast majority of the victims were black who were shot by other blacks.

US streets are running red with the blood of black men who were taken down by their own kind.

But go ahead and keep writing stories about how some white woman called the cops on a black paperboy.
Yea, she is the real evil in all of this.

Hey Lil' Jordan.....

How 'bout postin' all them courses you've taken and the grades you got?

Time for the U.S. Senate to introduce a bill that requires all athletes to pass the standard SAT with a score of 1100 or better and if they are on scholarship they have to take at least 4 courses per semester and pass all four with no less than a 2.0 grade average. The classes must be required for a major.

No communication courses unless the major is a real communications (TV, Radio,Foreign Language)

If anyone other thyan the athlete takes any classes or tests and is caught, it's 5 years in federal prison for both the athlete and the tets taker

haha, he posted his opinion with a lot of fact in it and you all prove his point by pounding your fist and hoping he gets cut. He plays football in Austin Texas, he'll now be the most popular player on the team. Yes, Texas is a red state but all the big cities are blue, so if Herman were to punish this kid good luck recruiting.

So, Herman has lost control.
That didn't take long.

Or he doesn't mind that his college student athletes speak their mind. Losing control would be more like Switzer in the 80s, or maybe all the times Baker had to apologize for something stupid.

Yep. And Austin's the bluest of all of 'em. Been that way since the Guadalupe Street hippie days of the 60s. There ain't many people in Austin that'll have a problem with Lil' popping off. In Austin, it'll probably go by without a lot of notice whatsoever. Haven't seen a thing about it in the AAS.

Minor League football will NEVER put a dent in college football.

Fans drive long distances to see their "school" play and cheer
them on. They could give a shit about minor league football.

The WVU fans in Charleston are going to make the 150-mile
drive to Morgantown, not stay in Charleston to watch the Rockets
play the Wheeling Ironmen.

So somebody runs the 40 in .2 of a second less. The average fan
doesn't know that. Besides, fundamentals would greatly improve
in college football.
