LSU appreciates you opening the door to $EC recruiting in Texas. As far as LSU and Bama are concerned, adding A&M just means another Miss. St in their division. You got played. Enjoy the next two decades of 5-7.
Wrong
If anything, LSU and Arkansas hate this. They already had their claws in Texas recruiting.
Now they'll have to worry about Florida, SCar, Alabama, etc coming in and taking away from their recruits.
Texas A&M ran off because they thought they were getting screwed by Texas and the Longhorn Network.
They explained to us so much how much better off they were in the SEC.
Then... they want us to schedule them? And move out games we had already had contracts with other schools.
And Texas playing them again only helps them, because they can never sell out their stadium.
No thanks. Rot in hell. Sleep in the bed you made.
I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard or expensive to replace them with UTEP or Wyoming.
117 years of tradition tossed over a petty squabble.
This isn't the first time a team has left a conference that has their rival in it, both teams are usually man enough to keep playing each other so that it can be settled on the field though.
