Texas picks up Jarret Allen

was looking for an off-season thread to put this, but gave up.
Texas picked up 5 star Jarret Allen, McDonald's AA big man. This will give Texas the #5 or #6 or thereabouts ranked class. He's a 6'10" guy with a 7 1/2 foot wingspan and was the 15th rated prospect.

He joins another Mcd AA Brandon Jones, and two four star players to give Shaka Smart a pretty damn good class. Really needed Allen, as all the post men on campus have graduated or left for NBA.

Is it just me or are players coming into college these days getting bigger and bigger (both in height and size)

I think Smart is going to be a beast for you guys. The coaching in this league is outstanding.
