Texas A&M: 2020 Best Team Ever?

'Casters were alluding to it as possibly the best Texas A&M team ever.

A team that will likely finish 4th or 5th in the polls.

Sorry, but I can recall a lot of college football history, is there any way this is the best Texas A&M football team in their entire team history?

Over the years I have been the 1st one to rag on a$m.

They had a great year and proved me wrong thru-out the year... (hopefully a&m is back)
They were 9-1 (loss only to Alabama) and probably deserved to be in the play-offs...
I am old enough to remember some other great years ... so I'm not sure I would call this year a&m's best.

The outcome of the game would have been the same Alabama would have beat them down. Also they in no way beat the brakes of UNC like Notre Dame did. I think if Notre Dame and A&M played Notre Dame would win.

And A&M did not even get to their Conference Championship Game. The results of the ND Alabama indicate that A& M would have been defeated by more, after all they already lost by 28 to Alabama. Not getting to a conference Championship game is not a good plan unless your name is Alabama.

That is your opinion. They were the 4th best team and most teams haven't handled Alabama this year including Texas A&M. Who barely beat UNC and Notre Dame dominated them.

ND Defense gave up over 30 to Clemson--- some might suggest that fact along would drop them our of the playoffs ....

2012 team was better. I'm sure people more in tune with Aggy football history could come up with some others. No offense but it's hard to believe this was the best Aggy team ever

Yes and Texas A&M gave up 50 to Alabama and it kept them from the playoffs. I do think the four best teams got in Alabama is just that good this year and perhaps Ohio State too if Fields is healthy.
