Tennessee Has the Longest Winning Streak in the SEC...

Tennessee also has more bowl wins in the past 2 years than Alabama and Auburn combined.

Eh, the Big 12's bowl showing was worse than the SEC's.

TCU was definitely a big time winner, but:

Baylor blowing a big lead to lose to MSU
West Virginia losing to A&M
Texas getting destroyed by Arkansas
Oklahoma getting destroyed by Clemson
KSU losing to UCLA

At worst the SEC will be 6-6 in bowl games, and at best 7-5. The Big 12 went 2-5. And the SEC East is undefeated in Bowl season with Florida playing ECu right now.

Whats that got to do with anything? He was talking about how the SEC has been overrated ranking wise this year (which is true). Also(even though this is abit of a tangent), the Big 12 wasn't even in the playoffs and no one (outside of maybe b12 country) talked about them as the best conference. Also, at least they won a BCS game (against the SEC no less) which makes them 2-0 in bcs bowls in the last 2 years vs SEC. Either way, not a great bowl season for the sec. Not bad, but not what the rankings and conference strength talk indicated.

Tennessee is on an upward trend. They had a lot of close losses this season(UGA, Florida, and Missouri all by 1 possession) and they went into Columbia and beat South Carolina. They have a top 10 recruiting class coming in and return a shit ton of starters. They won't be good enough to be in the CCG, but they're definitely good enough to ruin someone's chances. I know as a UGA fan, I'm a bit nervous about having to travel to Knoxville next season.

Yesterday, Greg McElroy said he believes the UGA/TENN game will determine the East. That would be awesome...
