No WV's success goes back to like the 80s.

I think they benefited greatly from being in the Big East and having Miami and VT leave the Big East, that was when they sort of took over. But I am just amazed they can get any sort o
f talent to come to West Virginia, especially now since they are like so isolated in the Big12.

Winning brings in talent and WVU has had some very dynamic players that got a lot of E$PN highlights. Players want to be part of these things. How has Oregon got players out of Texas and play at 10:30 at night, when most of their friends are going to sleep.

WVU played for the NC in 1988 and '93. Didn't join the BigEast til 1995

I think Ducks beat ASU. The way we played the second half was inspiring and the team showed tremendous pride. It was like Oregon of old.

I think Oregon tooko momentum from that game even with losing. A win vs Arizona State is very likely.

To be fair, TCU really isn't very good. I never understood how the pundits were all over them considering what they lost.

Theoretically with what all they returned their defense should have improved but it hasn't

Their offense has a ton of speed and even though Hill kind of sucks they still score a lot of points
