TCU senior defensive end Mike Tuaua and redshirt freshman wide receiver Andres Petties-Wilson was arrested on Monday for allegedly kicking and punching a student in the face on Friday night and stealing "a case of thirty Keystone Light beers" (first reported by KXAS-TV).
You can read the full affidavit on Tuaua's arrest warrant here, which describes him as one of three suspects involved in the incident.
According to the affidavit, someone in the group of Tuaua and two others threw a beer can at three students walking by. Then, one of the three suspects punched one student in the head and then the three suspects all kicked and punched another student while he was "laying on the ground in the fetal position," before stealing the case of beer.
On Monday night, TCU announced that Tuaua has been suspended by the team for "a violation of team rules."
TCU is currently down six defensive starters due to injury, with five expected to miss the remainder of the season. So, while Tuaua appeared in just the opener at Minnesota, his suspension cuts into the Horned Frogs already short defensive depth.
