This is horrible news ... wow!

Out for season with torn MCL.

It didn't even look that bad. Wasn't even really 'hit' and was walking around on his own power. Talk about a freak injury and bad fng luck. I guess he prolly knew it since he was seen sobbing on the sidelines with the docs.

yup just saw. MCL. damn that hurts guys. down to 1st year RB CJ and 2 freshmen. I do like Adams but damn can we catch a break. already lost 3 big time players. also lost safety avery for for 4-6 weeks. broken foot.

good news with the Oline we have e should be able to run with who ever. we just dont have a work horse any more.

Yup .... first Bryant (no biggie IMO - baggage) and, now, our real #1 in Folston.

The price of keeping CJ healthy just went wayyyyy up and our youngins are gonna have to step up.

One silver lining in it all ... this O-Line we got ... WOW. I think I could run for 100 per game behind that. Just got to keep them healthy, too!

I feel horrible for Folston, though ... just sux on a freak injury.

Bad news but Adams, Brent and Williams will just have to step up to and fill in for Prosise so he doesn't get worn down.

adams reminds me of a young frank gore(college). i like what i saw from him. i think overall we will be k. just sucks we always get hit hard with injuries.

Kinda surprised he's out for the year though. MCL injuries even if they're torn aren't typically that bad to have him out for the next 3-4 months

It isnt the MCL, ND announced it is actually the ACL that was torn.

That makes sense. MCL injuries usually isn't a season ender especially if it happened at the start of the season.....ACL always is

What gets me is he walked off on his own power with a little bit of limping ... and limped all the way to the locker on his own. No cart ... no help. Just weird, freak injury.

It may not have been the worst ACL injury but an injury none the less.

Damn its not an MCL its a ACL injury. More bad news for folson.
