I would assume it would be Louisiana if it was per capita, although that's purely on the basis of NFL Talent per capita.

Some of the totals were somewhat surprising to me. But it also shows the population shift in this country to the South and West.

wow, Nebraska is one spot below Idaho. Considering the lack of talent in their home state they run an incredible program.

Man, what happened in 2013? It looks like a "down" year for talent according to that. I wonder if it was something cyclical or was it just a shitty year for recruiting or what?

La probably has the most per capital, but don't get all big headed. This is just football and doesn't include the other sports, nor those who go pro.

I agree. I don't really get into the per capita thing, b/c everytime Louisiana high school football powerhouses play Texas high school football powerhouses, Texas is always curbstomping the shit out of them. I went to watch Southlake Carroll play Shreveport Evangel Christian back in '06 and the score was 41-0 Carroll.........in the 2nd quarter mind you.

Evangel is a 2A school who used to play 5A until the LA high school football association made them play back down to their enrollment. West Monroe would probably be a better school as a measuring stick but they don't play those type of non-conference games. Evangel would have been a good test for the Texas big boys a couple of years prior to being made to play down. They used to have it rolling recruiting, facilities, and all the money you could want. I want to see Jenks in OK play some of the bigger Texas schools.
