Stupid Defense Question

My defense gives me a headache every year. I'm in 1st and almost guaranteed a playoff spot. I have NE defense. Not a bad matchup this week but have a bye and Denver coming up. Ugh.

So looking ahead would you:


Trade Sankey for Baltimore Defense? They face Miami and Jacksonville in weeks 14-15.

Drop Sankey for KC? They face Oak in week 15 at home and have some o.k. match ups along the day.


*I can also just try to flip N.E. next week for a favorable matchup (assuming a good D is still available) and try to do that the rest of the way.

*Sankey is the only guy I could drop. (unless I dump Matthews)

The other decision is just to dump N.E right now and grab KC.

KC faces STL this week. NE faces Chicago. Toss up.

Going forward, KC is stronger.

KC at home should be a nice play. The Pats lost Chandler Jones last week, so they could take a hit.

If you do end up dropping Sankey, drop him Sunday morning so nobody can use him assuming your league puts dropped players on waivers until.

Generally I would agree. In this case, I have a very strong bench and am trying to win the damn league!


Would you consider trading Sankey for Niner D? Week 14 they should have their studs back and play Oakland. (not sure if the other owner would do it. He IS very desperate for talent of any kind)

Sorry misread your initial one. No I wouldn't trade a was of used toilet paper for the niners d.. In fact I just dropped them for the ravens. Lateral move at worst.

Btw..I wouldn't trade anyone other than the worst player on your bench for the Ravens either

Ha! Yep, the Niner D is pitiful but faces Oakland week 14. They should have several key defensive players back by then as well.
