When Packers moved up from #30 to #26 in 2020 NFL draft many Packers fans though Queen was going to be the pick (Ravens #28).

Jefferson and Aiyuk already had come off the board at WR... so a lot assumed it would be Queen, but it was Jordan Love.

I was kinda hoping Macdonald could lure Queen to the Seahawks. Wagz is getting near the end, if not there already. He's really lost a step. I'm hoping Bobby retires before his skills diminish any further. I love the guy but time to hang em up and wait for his gold jacket. And Brooks can't play pass defense worth a lick.

Happy with this... And considering the money being thrown around at LBers right now, I'm very happy with this contract.

Steelers needed an off-ball LB and he is one of the best.

Don't think the money is there...

We don't know the entire details of Williams/Fant/Brown/Harris and Lockett's restructure, but adding in what you need reserved for draft and reserves/PS/injury, I'd say Seattle has about $15-20M to work with, with still about 5-10 open positions. Queen at 3 years $41M... a lot of people are screaming it's a bargain... eh... Queen is SOLID but he's showing nothing to be ELITE at the moment.... and MacDonald got a LOT out of a TON of fairly average guys. Queen was nearly irrelevant until MacDonald got there.

Dare I say 3 years $41M was an overpay. Course I'll get called a bitter Hawks fan... like when I was called bitter about losing Wilson... whatever.

Totally agree on the money part. But was more hoping we could get him a little cheaper because he wanted to play for McDonald. Our LB play was not good the last couple of years. Queen isn't prime Wagz or anything but he is very good, especially in pass defense.

Wagner still looked pretty good to me the last couple years n can transition between a 4-3 n 3-4 defense pretty seamlessly. When I heard about the Skins signing him. I immediately thought about London Fletcher. Who signed with the Skins in his 10th year and played 7 seasons with the Skins, 6 of which were really solid seasons. Asking for 6 more good years from Wagner is a little too much for sure. I'd be beyond giddy if BW can give the Skins a third/half of that.

I also like that with the BW n Frankie Luvu signings. The defensive leadership mantle should be significantly strengthened.
