The Associated Press reported March 22 that ten states had agreed to file suit over federal healthcare reform legislation expected to be signed into law by President Obama on March 23rd.
The story says, "States are already lining up to sue the federal government over the constitutionality of President Barack Obama's health care overhaul. Officials in at least 10 states have agreed to file a lawsuit challenging the legislation."
The states preparing to file suit include Texas, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Pennsylvania, Utah and Washington.
