Time for some Smithwicks, Guinness, Harp's, Murphy's Irish stout.

I had a Spaten Optimator because that's the darkest beer I drink. Then I had a Spaten Octoberfest and the guy I met at the bar was reluctant to try it because "it looks so dark"...made me laugh.

I love it! Has a darkness and a richness without the bitter notes or the coffee notes you seem to get in all dark ales and porters and all that jazz. It's just expensive, so I don't drink it a lot.
