Was hoping Lamb would be starting.

Zack has another nasty lineup to contend with. The first two (CO, CHI) didn't go well for him. Hoping for a truly Ace performance against one of the best.

I know it is early in the season but the Diamondbacks are getting the worst return on investment I have ever seen from two blockbuster acquisitions. Greinke has looked nothing like himself and it is very disappointing. The team gave up a huge package to get Miller and he has been the worst pitcher on the team. I almost cannot believe this is happening. On paper this was without a doubt the best one-two punch in Arizona since Johnson and Schilling. They were supposed to dominate.

I do not remember a bigger let down in Arizona sports history where any of the major sports teams got true game changing players and they did not live up to expectations. Even Shaq played well on the Suns and he had already been in the league for 15 years when the Suns traded for him. I hope these pitchers turn it around.

And this is sad part right there. Aaron Blair. Ender Inciarte......and the 1st overall pick in draft thats tearing it up for a guy no one really viewed as a game changer

Stewart got fleeced big time. All those players for essentially a #3. Should have just kept the youth and signed Leake. A sinkerballer in az ballpark works wonders and would been a nice change of pace guy in rotation

Best guess (and not my original theory, but makes sense) is that AZ tried to trade Pollack first, they saw the repaired arm, and said no thanks, which lead Stewart to overpay for Miller. It's no secret that he got fleeced, and it's going to hurt for a while. Just have to hope Shelby figures things out, and doesn't go all Rick Ankiel on us.
