also look at 23rd and 25th

LOL@ a one loss Conference USA team with a terrible loss and no good wins being ranked ahead of a one loss Big East team with a blowout loss to a mediocre team and no good wins.

guess that means Conference USA>>>>>> Big East

maybe the MWC-CUSA merged conference is the better option after all

Looks like a pretty solid poll with a few usual question marks. The one that I don't understand the most is the same one that is in the real world polls............Oklahoma at #6.

This is a team that lost at home last week to a Texas Tech team that just got clobbered by Iowa State 41-7 this past weekend.

Oklahoma doesn't have a real defense.......and if Oklahoma ever plays against a real defense, they will make Landry Jones poop in his panties.

I don't get the issue with Mich/MSU Mr. BoiseStateFan.

Mich may have lost to MSU, but they have a better record AND they beat a team that dominated MSU

To be fair...once MSU lost that 2nd game, they have no gripe over being ranked below a 1 loss Michigan team. Doesn't matter who won head to head, MSU has now dropped two games.

If you're going to :L over the Mich over MSU then you might as well :L over Nebraska over Wisconsin.

But they are 20th in scoring and 4th in red zone defense according to the NCAA web site. And the offense put up 34 points on Texas, who is ranked the #1 total defense in the Big 12.

yeah I don't get the Oklahoma thing either, they aren't that good, not good enough to be ahead of Oregon anyways, maybe Nebraska.

but Nebraska at least has wins over Washington and Michigan State, sir, so they have at least done something to explain them being ahead of a team they lost to, Michigan State is the only good opponent Michigan has played all year and Michigan State pretty much dominated them.

first of all sir, transitive property doesn't work, because MSU beat Michigan head to head and that was more recent then Michigan State's epic failure against Notre Dame which is looking more like a situation of "upsets happen"

only reason Michigan has a better record is because while Michigan State is playing teams like Nebraska, Wisconsin and Ohio State, Michigan is playing Northwestern, Purdon't and Minnesota.

Agreed, if we were looking at two teams with the same record.

Circular logic.

You claim that Nebraska has a reason to be ahead of Wisconsin, due to beating washington (WTF?) and Mich State

But...Michigan has one less loss than MSU, and beat a team that beat MSU.

So why doesn't that logic apply here as well? If it works one way, it always has to work that way.

This.

Also, why are you saying washington is a good team. They lost to the only good teams they have played and haven't beaten a good team at all.
