I was actually semi ok with OSU at 1. It's a stretch but whatever. But Tennessee at 24 was too much lol

4 loss Purdue ahead of 1 loss Tenn and Auburn was just too much. Haha. Even though I don't think Purdue is bad, and probably a 30-35 type team at the moment.

Purdue has a crazy love affair going on for them.

They only had ranked losses but their only win remotely worth noting was Davidson. Still had 100 votes to be ranked.

Now they finally got a solid win(in maybe the ugliest game I’ve seen) against Maryland. But follow up with a loss to Texas

Will see where they are at now

What a joke this latest poll is. UVA went 2-0 during the week, yet dropped 2 spots in the poll and there are now 3 teams ahead of them with 1 loss.

technically they're always meaningless because the AP and coaches polls aren't used by the NCAA tournament committee

A sport that uses actual games to determine a champion instead of human polls is totally dumb though .... I heard

Wonder if Cincinnati can crack the polls with a win this weekend against Mississippi St.? Should be ranked no lower than 22 IMO. If they win the rest of their non conference schedule, I see them ranked the rest of the year. Only Houston is better than them in the AAC.

I think what's hurting them is they have no Q1 wins at this point, at least why they aren't ranked now.
