Mostly a set up episode. Looks like they are continuing the trend of recent seasons of serialization storytelling instead of single episode stand alones

Agreed. I don't have a big problem with the serialization of episodes, but the episodes should at least have humor and/or entertaining satire and that episode missed.

I haven't been into the whole Tegrity Farms storyline from last season and it's disappointing that they keep riding it. I keep hoping Randy has a classic Randy moment that causes his weed farm to burn down and he gets into another Randy adventure that's more funny.

I liked Tegrity last season because Randy is most always a reliable character, especially when he throws himself into some ridiculous idea (like this). I'm also a sucker for Towelie. The "You're a towel." "No, you're a towel!" joke gets me every single time despite being decades old

Towelie was excellent when he was introduced and was excellent in his role as a Tardicaca towel. Bringing him back as a a Tegrity worker was a good call, but his interactions with Randy and actions within Tegrity were underwhemling to me... Randy + Towlie should = hilarity, but it I was honestly more bored than entertained by it.

They've been doing that for years now.

I really wish they would go back to the lone-standing episodes.

They're just getting lazy, as the current format saves them from having to come up with completely new stories/themes each week.

It's the least they could do, given they do not even give us full seasons anymore.

It was but that was more of the season finale of Tegridy farms, it was a strand of weed, they did sort of a real meta inside joke type of thing but there are still 4 more episodes left. Next one is tomorrow.

Such a great episode. That’s the best thing about SP. This episode took shots at both political sides and it’s always awesome to see.
