Kids don't give a fuck about all the extra bullshit on the xbox 1, they just want to game. They don't give a shit about kinect either and that's probably part of the reason it's 100 dollars more.

When parents are deciding which console to get their kid, a majority of them are gonna choose the PS4.

Rumor is that the PS4 is up to 2x more powerful of a gaming console than the xbox, and microsoft hasn't refuted any of those claims, so that tells me there's probably some truth to that.

They are gonna start charging 5 dollars a month for a PSN account which sucks ass if you don't play all the time, but at least I can sell my games to friends and I don't have to deal with this always online bullshit. They pull your account if you go offline for more than 24 hours. Can you believe that shit?

Plus I don't like the idea of the kinect staring at me all the time. How the fuck do I know I'm not being watched or some shit? Plus they're requiring for you to have the kinect plugged in at all times and if you don't you can't use the console. At least that's what I heard.

The shit microsoft is doing is majorly suspect.

Let's see, PS4 is $100 less, I can buy and sell used games, I don't have to have an internet connection, I don't have to have some piece of hardware that I don't use that often and always has to be plugged in and it has a better potential for graphics. Yep, PS4 it is.

I'm at the point these days (30yrs old) that I don't give two shits nor a fuck about all this online bullshit. We have wireless internet throughout the entire house but the only time I log on with my 360 is to check for system or game updates maybe once a week. I like to just sit down, turn the bitch on and play a couple games of MLB 2K11 or whatever the latest NCAA I game I have and be done with it.

My 12yr. old son on the other hand has a PS3 and is ALWAYS online. He doesn't play a game if it doesn't have online multiplayer. I'm not sure if the younger gamers will actually like the new xbox but I think it's ridiculous and am kind of excited about changing things up and buying PS4. Sorry Microsoft, you've screwed the pooch on this one.

I don't think they'll be doing the code thing because they will now require a psn+ account to play online multiplayer games.

I wonder if they will offer a full year discount for the PSN+ stuff? Like $5 a month or $50 for a full year. I could be bothered to spend that, because xbox is going to still charge the same thing.

I wouldn't expect a dramatic difference in graphics/gameplay to begin with......but I imagine it will be amazing after awhile when high caliber gaming companies (like Naughty Dog for example) get some programming practice with the PS4's capabilities. If having the PS4 exclusive games or some of the new features aren't worth the money....i'd probably wait for it to come down some if I were you.
