I looked and couldn't find it anywhere. Then after reading some bio on the song, I found out it was actually a reference to The Beverly Hills Hotel.

I gathered that about the song in general, but the phrase "Hotel California" was inspired by the Beverly Hills Hotel. At least that's what I read:

There's an old American folk / bluegrass song called "Cripple Creek." There are so many different versions with various verses, but the basic premise of the song is that the place called Cripple Creek is paradise on earth.
