Not Winston. For a couple of reasons. He will not be declaring. And his attitude is not conducive to being a pro yet. I bet he stays for two more years.

USC DL Leonard Williams.

Or

Cameron Irving from FSU

I'm not seeing any QB's at this point worthy of the first pick..jmo. Mariota is very good, but I don't know if he's a #1 pick type guy. Definitely a first rounder though. Winston ain't ready mentally and won't be by this time next year. Hundley is good, but I watched the Stanford and Oregon games last season and he just didn't impress me much. He'll probably go in round 1 because of the potential.

So you think Mariota and Brett Hundley will go in the first round, but Jameis Winston won't?

No. I know Winston is going to go round 1 whenever he chooses to declare. I never said he wouldn't, so not sure where that came from. Just saying that in my opinion, he won't be ready, but that's not to say a team wouldn't take him anyway.

I think Winston is better than both those guys easily as far as NFL potential goes, I think unless he grows up and gets his head right, he will seem risky like Johnny Football. I'm not sure how these NFL vets would react to his cute little speeches...lol

Perhaps you should reread your post. By saying "he isn't ready mentally and won't be by next year", you make it seem as if you are saying he won't. That's where all this is coming from.

I will be watching Devonte Fields. He was All-Big 12 as a true freshmen DE. Suspended and injured this year. He is a legit talent. If he is has progressed from his Frosh year, he maybe the best DE in the country. A lot will depend on the development in his head though.

Cedric Ogbuehi (OT) from A&M or Randy Gregory (DE) from Nebraska probably.

It will be a defensive guy again. Probably Eric Striker.

Mariotta would have been the best QB in this draft IMO.

Andrus Peat maybe, presuming he declares.

Obviously still have a year to go - but multiple NFL Scouts have said Mariota will be the first QB taken and Winston will be anywhere from the 2nd to 4th QB selected.

It will probably be some LT from somewhere. But between Mariota and Winton, Winton I think would make a better QB in the NFL but his background is shaky so I would go Mariota right know since he's look better than Russel Wilson or RG3 when their was in college.
