This is how we will operate under Dombrowski. He doled out huge contracts left and right in Detroit, didn't win the big one, and left their farm system depleted, and with albatross contracts still on the books.

We had better win to justify this contract.

That said, we have one hell of a staff now. Price, Buchholz, Ed-Rod, Porcello, and Miley is very solid. We can stash Owens and Johnson in the minors ( for when Buchholz gets hurt), and hopefully shift Kelly's power arm to the bullpen.
