So the off season expansion/realignment talk got me thinking

If the B12 were to crumble/be picked apart similar to the BigEast and WVU is left without a spot in the Power conferences, where would you like to see us end up?

If conferences end up with 20 schools per conference... Which is not all that far fetched, I'd say the SEC. The ACC and the B1G does not seem all that interested. The SEC is kind of eyeballing us so to speak, not in it's up to 16 mindset, but we are on that radar.


I still think 5 power conferences will fly more than 4. But if 4, at least 2 of those conferences will go to 20 schools.

The financial drop off wild be terrible but I'd prob go AAC for Cincy and ECU but....

WVU would not be able to sustain itself as a member of the AAC... they'd have to cut out a bunch of sports. Travel in the AAC would be as bad as the Big 12 with significantly less money to pay for it.

I like being in conferences with 'Big' in it... and the FCS level is where WVU should play if it cannot be among the Power 5. Back with our old rivals like Richmond and VMI. Life would be good again...

I would say drop down to Div II and be done with it. We obviously are not worthy!
