So ... Playoffs

The best possible outcome ... IMHO ... we retain our divisional lead ( not an easy task ) ... and the Doghairs are forced into a one game playoff with somebody (guessing Reds or Cards or Pads) ... and they lose. A one game winner take all situation is a tough situation to be in. Being just a little off can end your season. I really don't want to play the Doghairs in an extended series if at all possible. We are good but I think they have the best rotation in baseball and if they get Kershaw back ... they will be a little better. I'm also guessing that next up would be the Brewers. Another great rotation. Maybe as good as the Doghairs. May even a touch better. A real tough road through the NL. Not sure who we see from the AL but I personally like the White Sox but you can't dismiss the Astros

I think we have a better chance against the doggies than we do against the Crew. At this point, I think my NL pick is the Crew. I reserve the right to change my picks when the matchups are set, though.

From what I've seen the Crew opens against the Eastern divisional winner and the Western divisional winner opens against the winner of the wild card game

in actuality, the #1 seed gets the WC winner and the #2 seed gets HFA against the #3 seed.

I've very disappointed it is the Padres, and not the Dodgers, that is in a nosedive. I kinda liked the idea of 3 NL West teams making the playoffs and the Padres pulling out a huge upset in the Wild Card game, only to be swept by the Giants in the NLDS.
