She needs to take this opportunity because with many of top the players gone she has a chance. I have a feeling that she might blow it though. If she does win it, good for her. I'm not wild about her either as she shows much animosity toward Serena. Yet she shows none to other players who have dissed her (Azarenka) and screams all through the matches with her (Vika and Sharapova), yet she has said nothing about this. This I do not like. She needs an attitude adjustment and then she will be considered a nice person.

Simtast I like you too. You are a fair person. I like to tell it like it is and I see you have that quality also. You don't fail to recognize her talent even though you don't really like her. I have been around, but don't get to this message board much, but when I do I enjoy your posts.

Good observation that can be attributed to lack of mental toughness or confidence. Exhibit A of this is when she allowed Ana Ivanovic to come back when she seemed to be in total control and Ana was making a ton of unforced errors.

her backhand is spectacular right now. from the aussie open to present, it's been one of the most impressive looking shots i've ever seen. her forehand is no longer a weakness, either.

we'll see how long she maintains it, though.

Stephen's game is very un-solid so far. She can move the ball around but deep in the rally she doesn't have the patience to stop errors from coming. She can lose in straight sets if the other girl can just hold her level.
