Oregon Is Faster
The fact Seattle has gone this long without an NBA franchise is terrible. New Orleans does not seem like the greatest market for NBA and quiet frankly it may be one of the most forgotten franchises currently in the NBA. Yet they have a decent roster of talent including Anthony Davis who could be a great player if he stays healthy.
But really, the Pelicans are forgotten where they are right now in N.O and they have Cousins and Davis. They aren't good, they aren't winning, the rebranding the Pelicans did a couple years ago to go from the Hornets to Pelicans resulted in an extremely bland look. I don't think many people would shed a tear if the Pelicans moved to Seattle. Seems like New Orleans was a try out spot for the NBA, it worked for a couple years, and it has now faded.
Seattle needs a team, New Orleans probably doesn't care and is just waiting for Saints football to come around, could this be the next NBA franchise to move?
