Again, Marquette's basketball operations budget is #2 in America. Only Duke spends more. Their coaching salary is the least expensive part of their program.

And people still ask why would .... want to go to Marquette.

The Big East is on its way to being that. It remains to be seen if Marquette will. If they schedule well OOC, they'll still be the strong program they've been. But it's hard to make a case for the Big East.
